Alderson was the false protagonist and the first character for Cube shown on-screen.
Alderson begins by awakening within the Cube. Nervous, and clearly confused, he stands to observe his surroundings. He begins to open each room looking into each area. Unsure with what to do, he chooses a room, seemingly at random and steps in. After taking a few steps, a loud swish sound is heard, and Alderson is instantly killed.
Slowly, his body begins to pool blood at random parts of his face, then his hands and body falls to pieces, in cube-like shapes.
A giant sheet of thin metal strips comes down to reveal Alderson has been sliced to pieces. It closes upwards, and the titlecard for the film is revealed.
Nothing else is known about Alderson.
